Ministries at Manor

Worship Services & Fellowship Events
Each Sunday morning at 9:30 AM we look forward to worship services. Manor’s services are structured, but not liturgical. Our music is a blend of contemporary and traditional. A Coffee & Fellowship time is scheduled into each Sunday morning. Special fellowship events occur regularly, about 1-2 each month. Various small groups meet in individual homes. One or two church picnics are planned each year. And we have special services for Easter and Christmas Eve. Manor is blessed to have a historic building that serves for our meeting place. It has a full kitchen and ground floor space for fellowship gatherings and Sunday school rooms. Our grounds are in a rural setting and feature old trees and the meandering Big Elk creek.

Youth & Kid’s Programs
Our Pre-K to 5th grade children meet during the sermon time. They have fun learning basic truths about God from scripture. They join the adults at 9:30 am worship, and then are dismissed before the sermon. They meet every Sunday year round in the hope of benefiting them with a more consistent environment and routine. We look forward to partnering with parents & grandparents so that the next generation may put their trust in God. Nursery care is available for families with infants and toddlers for the entire worship service. And childcare for all these groups is provided from 11:15 to noon, whenever the adult Sunday School is in session. Students in 6th–12th grade participate in the entire worship service with their families. Their Sunday School takes place from 11:15 am to noon each Sunday from September through June. They also have regular Sunday evening events and fun get-to-gethers.

Manor Deacon Ministry
This ministry consists of a variety of things. A Deacon Mercy Offering is taken the 2nd Sunday of each month. With this Manor is able to assist in various needs of our members. This ministry also donates to three local ministries: Pregnancy Resources at Cornerstone, Gap, Pa; The Bridge Ministry Center, West Grove, Pa; and The Point in Parkesburg, Pa.
