Alex & Becki Watlington

RUF Penn State University, PA

Alex Watlington is originally from Lookout Mountain,GA (though he considers Tennessee his home state…it’s really only a matter of feet). Alex attended Westminster Theological Seminary and received an M.Div in May of 2008. Soon after, Alex accepted a call from the Susquehanna Valley Presbytery to be the RUF Campus Minister at Penn State University in State College, PA. RUF is the PCA’s college ministry, and seeks to reach and equip students for Christ and his church. Alex is leading a kingdom movement of students reaching other students on the college campus. Alex’s job can be simply described as “biblical pastoring” students in the context of a large group meeting where he preaches, small group meetings where he leads discussions, and one to one meetings where he builds relationships and councils students from all walks of life. Alex is married to Becki and they have two boys: Whit (July 2006) and Miles (April 2009).
