“I am passionate about how the gospel changes people forever. When people really start to understand God’s love for them expressed through Jesus Christ they start to think and act in totally new ways! I am amazed and grateful that I get a front-row seat in what God’s doing in so many people’s lives.”
David has been our Senior Pastor since 2001. Before that he served as Pastor of Adult Discipleship and Youth Pastor at New Life Presbyterian Church in Glenside, PA. David has a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and has done post graduate work at Princeton Theological Seminary. David and his wife, Cindy, have twin teenage sons, Caleb and Daniel, and a son in elementary school, Andrew.
“I am convinced that God wants Christians to be “life long learners.” We are constantly being taught by Jesus through the Holy Spirit especially through His word and through our purposeful fellowship with other Christians. Not only have I found that God does not want “loner” Christians, but that He particularly works in our lives when we humbly open our hearts to fellow believers in Jesus and support one another through prayer and encouragement as we follow Him into the world.”
Dave joined the staff of Manor in January 2010, after retiring from a 30 year career in business. Dave has been heavily involved in church ministry his entire adult life and has led a number of small groups and Bible studies over the years. Dave is pursuing a degree at Biblical Theological Seminary. Dave and his wife, Elsie, have three grown children living in different parts of the United States.
“I love the fact that there are no insignificant people in God’s Kingdom. He pursues us in the midst of the messiness of our lives and embraces us as His children. Then, He loves us enough to invite us to be a part of what He is doing in the world. It is my joy to be able to share this message of God’s unmovable love with teens and their families in this community.”
Nate joined Manor’s staff in June 2010, three weeks after graduating from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. Nate has worked with all ages, including the elderly in St. Louis, families in West Virginia, and teens in churches and schools. When Nate is not working with teens and their families, he enjoys spending time with his wife Bethany and his two children, Kayleigh (6) and Hayden (3), in addition to rooting for his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. His family is looking forward to the birth of their third child in early fall 2012.
“I am blessed to assist our teams with practical tasks, enabling them to effectively focus on what God has called them to do. These are God’s ministries, and it is exciting to see how He is developing and unfolding them in our church family, community and beyond.”
